Cumberland Farms robbed in Port St. Lucie

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - A man robbed a Port St. Lucie Cumberland Farms Wednesday shortly before 1 a.m., police say.

A cashier told officers that the man entered the store at 1498 SE Lennard Road and demanded money.

The clerk couldn't see a weapon but the man indicated he had a gun hidden in his clothing.

Police released surveillance video of the robbery.

They say their suspect is a thin black man in his mid 20s, is approximately 5'9" tall, and has a deep voice. 

He wore a black and white checkered hoodie sweatshirt with a white bandana that hid the lower half of his face. He also had on blue jeans, and black shoes. 

Police say he got away with $50 and was last seen heading east on Tiffany Avenue.
