17-year-old teen arrested in connection with 14 car burglaries in Port St. Lucie

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - Police have arrested a teenager accused of burglarizing 14 cars in Port St. Lucie.
Last week, officers fielded numerous calls from Port St. Lucie residents in the area of SW Tuscol Streett, SW Khan Drive, and SW Jericho Avenue. Residents complained that their cars were broken into.
On October 1st, at about 2 a.m., police said they found a 17-year-old hiding in the woods in the 3000 block of SW Ann Arbor.
Police said the teen was wearing dark clothing, and had on a pair of gloves when they found him. They were able to identify the teen as their suspect after reviewing a resident's home security surveillance camera, according to an arrest report.
Police say the teen they arrested calls himself 'Crakajack.' He faces 14 counts of burglary and one armed burglary charge.
