ST. LUCIE COUNTY — Four people were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash northbound on U.S. 1, in St. Lucie County, just north of the Martin County line, Monday morning.
Just after 10 a.m. a gold Chevy Cavalier heading south on US 1 by Lennard Road cut in front of another car. The cars clipped bumpers sending the Cavalier over the median into the northbound lanes where it was hit by two vehicles, an SUV and then a Scion.
A mother and daughter were in that Scion.
The daughter was flown to St. Mary's Medical Center for possible broken bones.
The mother was taken to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.
Two people in the Cavalier were also taken to the hospital.
Traffic is slow in the area.
