FORT PIERCE, Fla. - A woman arrested after apparently refusing to put on her shirt while on the dance floor did not go to jail quietly.
"It's (mammary glands) time, I'll take everything off. I am getting arrested for indecent exposure! I'll give you something to look at baby!" the woman is quoted as hollering. "I'll take everything off! Oh, yes, baby I'll take it all off OK."
The reported bared breast brouhaha that got Ronda Beckman busted played out Aug. 2 at Captain Jax Sandbar and Grill on North Second Street in Fort Pierce, according to a recently released report.
The manager told Fort Pierce police that Beckman, 46, was removing her shirt while intoxicated on the dance floor. The manager said Beckman rejected a request to put on her shirt and left.
Two officers found Beckman, and a third officer noted her breasts were exposed.
One officer said Beckman called him "a piece of (poop)" and an "(anus)."
While breast exposing women exclaiming, "It's (mammary glands) time," might be frowned upon at mainstream restaurants, other venues likely would celebrate the statement.
In the patois of the street, those establishments are known as "(mammary gland) bars" or "strip clubs" and feature nude or scantily clad women engaging in sensual and/or erotic dances in exchange for monetary compensation.
Beckman was arrested on charges including indecent exposure, lewd lascivious behavior and disorderly intoxication.
Beckman was put in a patrol vehicle where she is quoted as screaming, "You (fornicating) (call girl), you are a (fornicating) (call girl)!"
As the officer and Beckman, listed as homeless, traveled to jail, Beckman said, "It's (mammary glands) time, I'll take everything off. I am getting arrested for indecent exposure! I'll give you something to look at baby! I'll take everything off! Oh, yes, baby I'll take it all off OK."
The affidavit didn't state whether she did "take it all off."
