FORT PIERCE -- Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute has experienced minor flooding, said its public information officer, Ronda Wilburn.
The flooding is contained to parts of the first floor, she said. The emergency room remains unaffected and is operating as usual.
"We are actively working on resolving the issue," she said. "Many elective surgeries are being rescheduled due to the weather so patients should confirm with their doctor before coming to the hospital for their procedure."
