The destruction can be seen and the clean up can be heard outside Kathryn Richardson's Fort Pierce home.
She said everyone used to call is the prettiest on the street.
But on the inside, it's even worse. The roof is peeled back and shattered glass is all over the furniture and floor.
She told WPTV she was looking at the weather through a sliding glass door when she heard windows breaking.
She then ran to the bathroom to ride out the storm, praying the whole time.
"Yeah I was hearing them ting a ling," she said.
She thanks God she is still alive.
"Scary. My heart was pounding, and I was just shaking," she said. "It came through going woo then the house shook and I heard clank clank clank. everything was breaking!"
