FORT PIERCE, Fla. - Two brothers were found shot to death inside their home on Thursday according to Fort Pierce police. Police say the killer hasn't been found.
The victims have been identified as Fabian Cash, 20, and Brandon Cash, 18.
"These two young men went to work every day, didn't run the streets you know they were trying to do the good thing," says family friend Robert Miller.
Miller says the two brothers lived with an aunt and another brother. He says he saw them Wednesday night and everything seemed fine.
"Spoke to them and waved and said 'hey guys how you all doing?' and they were just hanging out being young people," says Miller.
Fort Pierce police admit they don't know who killed these brothers and they need help.
"We don't have any suspect information at this time," says Deputy Chief Frank Amandro, "We're asking the community to step forward and give us a hand."
A large crowd surrounded the house Wednesday afternoon and evening. Dozens of people watched as detectives investigated the double murder. Several said they're tired of the violence in Fort Pierce.
Thursday's shooting means seven people have died in violent crimes this year according to Fort Pierce police.
"It's very tragic and horrific what happened," says Miller, "Hopefully somebody knows something."
Fort Pierce had another shooting on Thursday night. Police say Lee Frank Adams, 24, was shot around 8 p.m. It happened in the 1200 block of Avenue O. Police don't have information on his condition.
