Fort Pierce man accused of peddling drugs from his home

FORT PIERCE, Fla. - A 47-year-old man faces a host of charges after police Thursday searched his home and turned up drugs including crack cocaine, Ecstasy, oxycodone and marijuana, according to an affidavit released Friday and a release.

Vincent Lee Poole was arrested on charges including trafficking oxycodone, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of controlled substance without a prescription, possession of Ecstasy, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana after police searched his home in the 1600 block of South Ocean Drive.

Fort Pierce police got a search warrant after receiving information that Poole was peddling drugs from the residence.

Detectives seized crack cocaine, Ecstasy, Methadone, Alprazolam, oxycodone and marijuana.

Police also seized $1,025.

"(Poole) could not provide any information on how he obtained the money, because he clearly stated that he is unemployed," an affidavit states.

Poole was held Friday in the St. Lucie County jail on $111,000 bail, a release states.
