15 people arrested in Fort Pierce as part of ongoing narcotics bust

The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office and federal law enforcement officials arrested 15 people and served three search warrants as part of active and ongoing narcotics investigation.

According to St Lucie County Sheriff Ken Mascara, the investigation has been underway for 11 months and additional arrests are expected.

The Sheriff’s office says the warrants were served at addresses in the 300 block of S.W. Twig Avenue, Port St. Lucie, the 400 block of N.W. 28th Street, Fort Pierce and the 400 block of N.W. 41st Street, Fort Pierce.

The other agencies involved in the operation were the Fort Pierce Police Department, the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
