ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. - Firefighters are trying to get a wildfire in St. Lucie County under control.
It's burning in the 700 block of South Brocksmith Drive, just west of the Florida Turnpike and south of Orange Avenue.
The wildfire is about 30 acres in size and 70-percent contained.
The Florida Fire Service says it has a helicopter on scene and it is using a nearby canal to lift up to 320 gallons of water to release over the blaze.
One home was threatened, but is no longer in danger.
No one has been injured.
