Santaluces High School car fire: 6 vehicles damaged

LANTANA, Fla. - The start to the school day was disrupted Monday morning at Santaluces High School after a car caught on fire.

Around 8 a.m., units from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue were called to the student parking lot at the high school.

PBCFR said an SUV was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.

Firefighters said they were able to open the hood of the vehicle and extinguish it quickly, but five other vehicles parked nearby were also damaged.

Investigators said no one was injured, and the cause is under investigation.
