Helicopter with Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission staff makes emergency landing in Everglades

No one hurt

A helicopter carrying three biologists for the Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission had to make an emergency landing in the Rotenberger Wildlife Management Area, according to the wildlife commission.

The FWC workers were conducting a deer survey at the time.

FWC says the Broward County Sheriff's Office rescued the workers and no one was injured.

Mile Hi, which owns the helicopter, is contracted by FWC to provide aerial flights.

The sheriff's office and FAA are investigating.
