New documents shed light on Delray Beach murder case

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - On March 2, 2011 one of the more gruesome homicide cases in South Florida unfolds in a Delray Beach canal.

Police found the bodies of two children, six-year-old Ju-Tyra Allen and 10-year-old Jermaine McNeil, inside a duffle bag and a suitcase.

34-year-old Clem Beauchamp is behind bars charged with the killing.

New documents in the case reveal some startling information. Among the revelations in the 1,000 pages which were released was an interview police conducted with a Palm Beach County Jail inmate who claims Beauchamp admitted killing the two children.

According to the court documents, the inmate says Beauchamp described squeezing the baby in his arms until she stopped breathing, and at first tried to fit both kids in one suitcase.

The inmate goes on to say Beauchamp showed remorse, saying he felt bad for what he did because those kids didn't deserve that.

Beauchamp is also charged with their mother's death. Felicia Brown's body was found in a landfill in 2010.

Police believe Beauchamp killed Brown because she was planning to talk to investigators about his criminal history.
