DELRAY BEACH, Fla. -- The family of up-and-coming MMA fighter Jordan Parsons is now suing the accused driver Dennis Wright, his mother, and the Delray Beach bar where he was reportedly drinking before the crash.
Parsons was hit while crossing Federal Highway in May.
He died in the hospital days later.
The lawsuit claims Wright has a long history of reckless driving and a previous DUI.
The suit says he was driving his mother's SUV at the time of the crash.
It claims she "knew, or should have known" her son had a suspended license.
The suit also claims The Buddha Sky Bar should have instructed its staff not to serve alcohol to Wright, because his alcohol abuse was well known to the bar.
The family is suing for $15,000 to cover their trial costs.
