Second Shooting in Delray Beach

Delray Beach police said several hours later, dispatch received a call about shots being fired near the 900 Block of SW 2nd St.

Officers said they saw a car that was involved in the shooting leaving the area.

They attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled the area into Boynton Beach.

The vehicle eventually stopped in Boynton Beach and with the assistance of the Boynton Beach police and the sheriff's office helicopter, two people connected to the incident were located in a nearby canal attempting to elude the police.

Both people were taken into custody. The third person was later taken into custody.  It is unclear if both of these incidents are related.
