PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - Ten days after their homes were flooded with water some residents in Delray Beach want to know what is next.
A few dozen people in the Bonaire community met Wednesday morning asking about insurance, and what their homeowners association can do to help.
About fifty were displaced from their homes. Many others are living on cement floors.
Some are considering filing lawsuits, claiming they were misled about flood insurance.
"We're looking to have our flood insurance re-instated like it was years ago. It shows now that we should've always carried it. That would've helped them, homeowners' president Barry Howard said.
The community is also requesting that Florida Governor Rick Scott visit their homes to see the damage and consider offering disaster assistance.
