A shooting Thursday night in Boynton Beach injured a 19-year-old woman, police said.

It happened just after 9 in the 1000 block of Northwest Fourth Street.

D-Capria Rolle was talking to a man in a black Dodge Challenger when another car drove up and that driver began firing, according to police.

The driver of the Dodge returned fire. He was not hurt but several bullets struck his car, police said. They are not identifying him but said he is legally permitted to carry a gun.

Police are looking for a silver vehicle which might be a Toyota Corolla with bullet holes.

Rolle, who was hit in the leg, was treated at the hospital.

If you know anything you are urged to call Boynton Beach Police Det. Peter Zampini at 561-732-8116 or Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 800-458-TIPS.
