BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- A man died after being struck by lightning in Boynton Beach Friday evening.
The incident happened at 250 North Palm Drive.
Police say the 23-year-old Joseph Bechelet had been working on a motorcycle battery and holding a screwdriver moments before the lightening strike.
Officers arrived on the scene and began to perform CPR on Bachelet. He was transported to Bethesda Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
