Jhanna Novikov arrested after health officials say she gave injections without a license

Police: Victim says she was harmed by shots

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A woman who offered Botox injections has been arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Multi-Agency Diversion Task Force Agency, officials say.

The Florida Department of Health says that Jhanna Novikov was giving illegal injections at her West Palm Beach business without a license.

A victim had notified the Department of Health that she had sought Botox injections from Novikov.

Novikov, according to investigators, injected an unknown substance into her cheeks and forehead during November and December 2013.

The victim told officials that she had to have medical treatment because of adverse effects from the injections.

Novikov, according to investigators, rented a space at the Atelier Salon and Boutique at 6501 South Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach.

An undercover officer in May of 2014 met with Novikov to have her face injected.

Novikov was arrested because she did not have a medical license, officials said.

They booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Friday.
