Janice Rahming, Daphne Clemons update: Relatives ask for help to find sisters' killers

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - The Boynton Beach Police Department is turning to the public for help as officers continue to investigate a double homicide that has remained unsolved for two years.

Boynton Beach Detective Chris Crawford says he believes the shooters still have ties to the area.

In March 2012, police say two armed men burst into a home and shot sisters Janice Rahming and Daphne Clemons with high powered rifles.

During a Thursday news conference, Crawford says he believes the murders are connected to other violent crimes that happened around that time. But he said that Rahming and Clemons were not the intended targets that evening.

The victims' older sister gave an emotional plea to the public, asking for any information that would help the case. "I miss my sisters dearly. This is so hard to do but if anybody knows anything please we beg you to come forth and help us. All I have is memories to hold on to.
