Police: Shuman upset with paying child support

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Boynton Beach police have arrested a Lake Worth man who is charged with threatening to kill the mother of his children.

Officers say that Gerard Shuman was upset because he was under a court order to pay child support.

Shuman, according to investigators, made phone threats to the woman and also sent her a text message.

The message, according to Shuman's arrest report, indicates that he was upset because he could become homeless and threatened to kill the woman if the child support order was not withdrawn.

Police arrested Shuman who was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and charged with making a phone threat to kill.
