Frank Crisci: Man behind Boynton Beach Halloween exhibit faces numerous kiddie porn charges

Neighbors say children were often at man's house

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Every year, hundreds of people would stop by Frank Crisci's house for shock value.

Several years ago, the Sun-Sentinel ranked his home the sixth most haunted in all of Palm Beach County.

"He spent two months getting ready for Halloween," said neighbor Bill Murphy.

But this year, Halloween was barely over when investigators say they learned that kiddie porn had been uploaded to the online picture service Flickr.

The account is allegedly registered to the man behind the monsters on Luana Court in Boynton Beach.

Crisci was arrested Wednesday and hit with ten counts of possessing child pornography.

"My kids were never allowed to go over there just because, right or wrong, you get a feeling and you just don't want to chance it. He was a single guy and I never saw a reason for my kids to ever be over there," said Murphy.

Police say Crisci also sent an email to an AOL user that said he was "looking for more."

Neighbors say there were often kids at the house.

"Our neighbor's son has gone over there for a number of years and some of the other kids have been swimming in his pool and stuff like that," said Murphy.

Police say Crisci admitted to having child porn, but the report doesn't say whether Crisci is under investigation for anything more than just looking at pictures.

No one answered when we tried to ask for an explanation.

"Lesson learned is that it could be anybody that you don't expect to be doing the wrong thing. Especially that, that scares me," said Sherry Brown, a neighbor.

Crisci faces up to fifty years for ten counts of possession of child porn.
