The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree for a pair of doctors in Boynton Beach.
Dr. Anil Verma’s son will finish his fellowship this month and join his Boynton Beach practice.
Dr. Verma said it’s been his dream to have his son become a cardiologist and work with him.
“It’s very exciting and I’m very happy he went and became a doctor. I’m very proud of this,” said the elder Verma.
The younger Dr. Verma said his father has always been his mentor and he’s eager to work with him.
“It will be really rewarding to work alongside and see how he treats his patients and how he does his procedures,” explained Dr. Sameer Verma.
Both doctors will split time between the private practice and Delray Medical Center.
