Brother of murdered Boynton Beach sisters speaks out

Sisters were shot and killed in a home on Saturday

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Michael Norfus is in literally in the middle of a family tragedy. "That's all I had for both of my sisters; pure love," he said.

Two sisters - one older, one younger - were shot and killed in at a Boynton Beach home on Saturday night.

"This is like a bad dream that I just want to be over with," said Norfus. "I just want to want to wake up and have my family."

Investigators said that two men entered a Northeast 2nd Court home and opened fire, killing sisters Janice Rahming and Daphne Clemons. A third shooting victim, a woman who was across the street, was also shot and remains hospitalized.

"I'm pissed off. I'm angry," said Boynton Beach Police Chief Matt Immler on Monday afternoon. "Obviously we had a crime as horrific and violent as Boynton Beach has ever seen," said Immler.

Police say the suspects were likely fleeing the scene as a series of frantic 911 calls were received by emergency officials.

"The house was targeted, not necessarily the victims but the house was targeted possibly for retribution," said Chief Immler.

Police on Monday evening had increased patrols in the area of shooting. Anyone with information about the incident should call CrimeStoppers at 1(800)458-TIPS.

"This is one of the most painful experiences I've ever had in my life," said Norfus.
