Boynton Beach police say a serial burglar is on the loose.

Officers say a man caught on camera has broken into dozens of cars in the past month and is possibly armed.

It's not the first time Deris Bardales has had his car broken into.

"It's frustrating," said Bardales.

That's why he bought a security system. He knew someone would come back and sure enough they did. Only this time he caught them on camera.

"He got everything in the glove compartments. He searched very thoroughly and he found two Nintendo 3DS that belongs to my children," says Bardales.

Boynton Beach police posted a video on their Facebook page saying the same man was caught snooping into cars at Mariner Village.

Tony Rogers says he was hit twice, possibly in the same night. Now he's taking no chances.

"Went out and got some cameras and recording equipment so hopefully we can catch the guy or girl whoever the perpetrator is in the act,' says Rogers.

If you recognize or spot the accused car thief don't approach him, but call police. Officers say he could be armed because one video shows the man has a gun in his waistband.
