The Boynton Beach police chief is back in town after spending 10 weeks training with the FBI.
Chief Jeffrey Katz is now a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
The program connects law enforcement leaders from across the world with strategies and resources to better meet the goals of each department.
“It gives you the opportunity to take a valuable step back and assess what you're doing, who you're doing it with, are your expectations laid out appropriately,” Katz said.
Katz said one highlight was team-building exercises like a 6-mile obstacle course.
The FBI pays for all the costs of the program
