BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - A bicyclist had to be taken to the hospital after becoming pinned underneath a car Friday, according to Boynton Beach police.
Officials said the bicyclist was riding west on a sidewalk along Boynton Beach Boulevard near Congress Avenue but not paying attention to traffic.
A driver, who police said didn’t see the bicyclist, was pulling out of a driveway.
The driver hit the cyclist, who then became pinned under the car.
Good Samaritans removed the vehicle off the person, who was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with chest pains.
The incident is under investigation.
