Ryan Lazier: 23-year-old shot in Boynton Beach has died

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - UPDATE: Ryan Lazier, the 23-year-old victim in Monday's shooting on Northwest 12th Avenue, died Saturday night at Delray Medical Center, said Stephanie Slater, spokeswoman for Boynton Beach Police Department.

EARLIER STORY:

A 23-year-old is in critical condition after being shot just after midnight in Boynton Beach, according to local police.

The incident occurred in the 400 block of Northwest Twelve Avenue.

The victim, Ryan Lazier, was a passenger in a gray pick-up truck, and shot at least once.

Police said the driver of the truck flagged down an officer at the intersection of Northwest Third Street and Boynton Beach Boulevard.

Lazier was taken to Delray Trauma Center in critical condition.
