Two children were injured in a hit and run crash in Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, FL - Two children were injured in a hit and run crash at the intersection of NW 2nd Avenue and Spanish River Blvd in Boca Raton.

According to Officer Sandra Boonenberg of the Boca Raton police department, the children were taken to Delray Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. 

Police say the car that left the scene was traveling southbound on NW 2nd Avenue when it turned left into the vehicle carrying the children.

Police are searching for an off-white Saturn with a missing front bumper and front end damage.

The public is being asked to call the Boca Raton police 561-368-6201 with any information regarding the crash.
