Russian retail theft ring busted at Town Center Mall Saks in Boca Raton, affidavit says

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Four Russian women from New York are under arrest and accused of taking part in a shoplifting ring at the Town Center Mall in Boca Raton.

The Saks Fifth Avenue store was targeted by Elisso Doudkine, Irina Sankova Teplitskiy, Ioulia Guerman and Oksana Faradzheva, according to police.

Officers recovered two Escada jackets, a blouse, T-shirt, and three dresses valued at $17,105, according to a probable cause affidavit.
 
Police say they also recovered a 'booster' bag which was lined with tin foil.

When questioned, the women said they did not understand English well. They had New York licenses but could not explain why they were in Florida, according to the affidavit.

They face several charges including organized scheme to defraud.
