Robbers attack teen on bicycle in Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Boca Raton police are searching for two robbers who attacked a teen riding a bicycle home from work late Sunday.

The 17-year-old boy said two men pulled him off his bike around 11 p.m. as he turned onto Northeast 15th Terrace from Dixie Highway, Boca Raton Police said.

After he fell, one robber put him in a headlock and grabbed his cell phone, debit card and $200 in cash. The victim heard one tell the other to "stick him with the knife," but he never saw a weapon, police said..

The teen was able to break free and ran down the street to his house. The pair pedaled away on bicycles.

One robber is described as being about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, in his mid 20s, with long blonde hair. He was wearing a dark shirt and denim shorts. The other is described as being about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with short blonde hair. He was wearing a light shirt and denim shorts.
