BOCA RATON, Fla. - Hundreds of students participated in relay for life at Florida Atlantic University Friday night.
The students gathered last night, and participated in games, music, and walks -- up until 7a.m. this Saturday morning.
"We're all here, were going to make a difference no matter if its donating your hair, donating that dollar , or getting up on stage and becoming a miss relay contestant," said Krystle McGrady. It's going to make a difference and were going to change lives and create with less cancer and a lot more birthdays," McGrady said.
Organizers say they hope this fundraiser created awareness, while celebrating the lives of people who have battled cancer.
