Realtor Ken Davis is a finalist for Good Neighbor Award and would use the money to help orphanage

BOCA RATON, Fla. - A Boca Raton realtor is one of ten finalists from across the country selected for the Good Neighbor Award.

Five of the finalists will receive a $10,000 grant for a charity of their choice. The other five finalists will receive $2,500.

Ken Davis says if he wins the award he will donate the money to the Rotary Club of Boca Raton to be used at the Cat Island Orphanage in the Bahamas.

He says he wants to turn the $10,000 into what's needed to buy hurricane impact windows for the orphanage.

Davis travels to the orphanage about once a month. He says it's all about the children and the children's lives being changed.

Davis will find out in October if he won the award and the $10,000 grant.
