There was a heavy police presence in the 300 block of SE Mizner Boulevard Friday morning.
Police say they were called after a shot was heard at a residence where a person was being evicted.
The area near SE Mizner Boulevard was closed while police investigated.
Deputies from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office were also dispatched to the scene.
Police later discovered a deceased person inside the residence. They say it appears to be self-inflicted.
Officers have cleared the scene.
