BOCA RATON, Fla. - Alexander Berger of Coconut Creek has been under court order since 2009 to stay away from LPGA star Morgan Pressel.
On Wednesday, Berger tried to gain access to Pressel's home in the St. Andrews County Club in Boca Raton, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
Despite the injunction ordering no contact between Berger and Pressel, Berger sent multiple harassing tweets to the golfer on September 20th, an arrest report states.
Deputies say that on Wednesday Berger told security at the gates of St. Andrews that he was a guest of Pressel.
Berger, according to his arrest report, also told guards that Pressel was his girlfriend.
PBSO says that security at the country club was aware of the injunction and called them.
Berger told deputies that he only wanted to speak to Pressel, and he was told to do so by professional golfer Jack Nicklaus and the CIA.
Pressel told investigators that she has never had a relationship with Berger and he has tried to contact her over the Internet for the past four years despite the injunction issued in Broward County in 2009.
Investigators said that Berger was arrested twice in Broward County for stalking a separate person.
Berger was arrest on stalking charges and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
