A Lebanese activist in Boca Raton has a unique perspective on the crisis in Syria.
BOCA RATON, Fla. - A Boca Raton woman has a unique perspective on the Syrian debate.
Tracy Chamoun is the president of the Liberal Democrats Party in neighboring Lebanon. She is the first woman to create an Arab political party.
She believes that the United States should refrain from attacking Syria because she feels it would send the entire region into chaos.
"If America goes in and strikes, America will be helping the rebels and Al-qaeda, those who perpetrated 9/11 where on the eve of 9/11 this is very symbolic," said Chamoun.
Chamoun splits her time between Palm Beach county and Lebanon. She heads back to the Middle East next week.
