Gennier Gonzalez, Maykel Hernandez, Rodriguez Cueto: Attempted roof break-in at Boca Raton jewelers

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Three men have been arrested by the Boca Raton Police Department after officers responded to an alarm at a Jared jewelry store located at 2050 Executive Center Circle.

Police said that just after 3:15 a.m. Tuesday they found a ladder leading to the roof of the store, a hole in the roof and the security system wires cut.

Investigators said they stopped a car leaving the area and questioned Gennier Gonzalez, Maykel Hernandez and Rodriguez Cueto about the break-in.

The three denied being involved in the incident, but an officer found two ski masks, cutting tools, a battery powered grinder and gloves, along with other items in their vehicle.

Police said they found shoe prints on the roof of the jewelry store that matched the suspects.

Gonalez, Hernandez and Cueto were arrested by Boca Raton police on burglary charges and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
