Authorities say a photo on the Snapchat social media app led to a home invasion and robbery in West Boca Raton.

News outlets report a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office arrest report says an armed robber held a butcher's knife to an 18-year-old man's neck Jan. 28 and disappeared with $280.

Deputies say the two suspects knew to demand the cash because the victim had posted a photo of the money earlier in the day using the smartphone app.

The victim told investigators he recognized one of the attackers' voices, whom he identified as 21-year-old Faried Said.

Said was arrested Monday and faces charges of armed robbery with a deadly weapon and burglary to a dwelling or structure. Authorities haven't identified the other suspect.

It's unclear whether Said has an attorney.
