BOCA RATON, Fla. - Calusa Elementary School in Boca Raton is hopeful it can catch the attention of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" with a video it created in honor of a student.
The YouTube video shows students and teachers dancing and speaking, holding up pictures of Ellen DeGeneres' face and explaining how they are cutting their hair.
The video was made in advance of an event for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, a charity that funds research to find cures for childhood cancers.
The video features a student named David who explains that he had a brain tumor at the age of four.
The school hopes the video will capture the attention of DeGeneres and possibly get her to make a visit.
