Brandon Miller arrested after calling 911 from a 7-Eleven

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Boca Raton police say that they arrested a man who called 911 from the front of 7-Eleven because he wanted to talk to a supervisor.

Officers say that Brandon Miller called the emergency phone line from the store at 103 West Palmetto Road.

Police told Miller that 911 is for emergency purposes only and misusing it could result in his arrest.

Miller told the officer at the scene that, "I'm going to dial 911 again when you leave."

The officer says that he saw Miller make a call from inside the store.

A police dispatcher told the officer that Miller had called 911 again.

Miller was arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on charges that he misused the 911 system.
