BOCA RATON, Fla. - Boca Raton City Council members are looking at ways to create more parking in the city's downtown.
The city's Community Redevelopment Agency will look at options at its meeting Monday at 1:30 p.m.
One of the options council members could look at is putting in paid parking meters.
The city recently made parking spaces timed downtown.
Council member Scott Singer says he would like to see that continue before meters are put in.
"I'd like to see the city continue its program of enforcing the timed parking downtown and see how that plays out for a little longer than the first few months," Singer said.
Singer says Monday's meeting is a starting point.
