Stone used to break into convenience store

A curb stone was used to break into a convenience store in Okeechobee, according to the sheriff’s office.

3 people targeted the Town Star on Highway 710 Wednesday morning around 4 a.m.

Surveillance video shows them stealing the stone from a nearby business just before the break-in.
   
The suspects covered their faces and wore gloves.

They used cutting tools to get into safe and broke into a cash register.
