Everglades Elementary School in Okeechobee has been evacuated due to a bomb threat.
Children are being transported to the Agri-Civic Center where their parents can pick them up.
Parents must bring an ID.
The school district released this information on Facebook:
If your child goes to Everglades Elementary and rides the bus home, you may want to go to the Agri Civic Center and pick them up. Buses are being delayed due to the bomb threat and transporting students to the Ag Center.
If your child rides a bus from Osceola Middle School, they may be 30-45 minutes late getting home today due to the need to reroute some buses due to the bomb threat at Everglades Elementary.
