Deputies have made an arrest in connection with a deadly stabbing in Okeechobee County.
The sheriff's office says Francisco Ricard Soto-Herrera was stabbed in the chest on August 31 at 3455 NW 16 Avenue and died at the scene.
Responding deputies say they saw 50-year-old Manuel Navarro walking down the street. They say he had blood stains on his clothes and hands.
Investigators say they later found out Navarro and Soto-Herrera were roommates, had been drinking, and ended up in a fight.
Deputies arrested Navarro and charged him with second degree murder. He's being held in the Okeechobee County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
