OKEECHOBEE, Fla. - An Okeechobee man is facing drug cultivation charges following a raid by the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say they executed a search warrant on Thursday at a house in the 22000 block of NW 264 Street.
Investigators say that they found 13 growing marijuana plants with active root systems weighing over 38 pounds.
The plants, according to deputies, are valued at $114,000.
The house, according to deputies, was equipped with timers, capacitors, breakers, an A/C chiller and 1000 watt bulbs designed to grow marijuana.
Jose Rodriguez was arrested and charged with the cultivation of marijuana, trafficking in marijuana, grand theft of electricity, using his property for manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
