Hail, some as large as golf balls, fell about 8 miles north of Okeechobee City, according to a viewer.
Okeechobee County Fire Station 4 also reported hail.
Some pool screens were also damaged as hail fell, according to YouReporters who sent photos to WPTV.
4 to 5 days of active weather are forecast.
