A Tequesta teen, who suffered severe head trauma months ago, has thanked the first responders who helped save her life.
In December Stella Strouse was involved in a golf cart crash that left her in a coma.
Crews from the Tequesta Fire Department, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and Trauma Hawk rushed the teen to the hospital.
Wednesday Stella and her family had a chance to say thank you to the rescue crews.
"And I just want to thank you. You guys don't get enough recognition. I don't know what people would do without all of you. Thank you for saving my daughter's life. Thank God for the doctors and St. Mary's Hospital. Thanks," said the rescued teen's mother Beth Strouse.
Along with hugs, Stella received a T-short signed by everybody on the response call.
