Ultimate Kickboxing event will benefit families of fallen Federal Law Enforcement Agents

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Enjoy a night of ultimate kickboxing and MMA all while helping families of fallen Federal Law Enforcement Officers.

The Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association hosting a Hero's Weekend event Saturday night at the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott.

All of the proceeds benefit the FLEOA and go to help the families of fallen Federal Law Enforcement Officers.

"Each year on average we are losing between nine and fifteen people. This is a nationwide problem and we respond when anyone is killed in the line of duty," FLEOA National Vice President John Bottone said.

The event starts at 7pm. General Admission is $35.00 and ringside seats cost $50.00.

Bottone says every dollar goes to a good cause.

"We come in right away with these families and provide assistance. We provide financial assistance, counseling, whatever they need," Bottone said.

The FLEOA Foundation is also part of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), that delivers emergency financial support to law enforcement officers in need.

Whether it's a line of duty death, health or fiscal issue, the Foundation responds and delivers help to those in need.

“The most important thing is we get to the family within 24 hours and we provide whatever assistance we can give them,” Bottone said.

Every year, the Foundation also solicits and awards educational scholarships to the children of law enforcement officers, with priority given to children of "the fallen."
