Tiger Woods will likely make the Honda Classic cut after dramatic back-to-back birdies

— On the verge of disappointing thousands of fans hoping to see him play this weekend, Tiger Woods grabbed some of that old magic and birdied his final two holes in dramatic fashion today at the Honda Classic.

Woods finished with a one-under 68, meaning he likely will make the cut, which is projected to be one-over.

Attendance for the Honda Classic at PGA National has hit record highs since the former No. 1 in the world entered the field.

But Woods used a shaky putter in Thursday's opening round to shoot a 71, then spent much of today scrambling, before he birdied the final two holes, the 427-yard par-four No. 8 and the 421-par-four No. 9.

More details to come soon.
