Rescue crews use Jaws of Life to free injured passengers in 3-vehicle crash on the Turnpike

CENTRAL PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews responded to reports of a serious three-vehicle crash on the Florida Turnpike that left an occupant trapped.

Rescue crews responded to mile marker 104 near the Beeline Highway exit around 3 p.m. and found three vehicles involved, including one that was heavily damaged and flipped on its side. Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to cut a hole in the vehicle to free a trapped occupant. That person was transported to Palms West Hospital.
